I will be eating ham and black eyed peas at my daughter and son in law’s later today .
Very traditional meal growing up in Texas .
New Years Day was a family day .Eating ,watching football, napping and making plans for the New Year. Almost no one worked unless necessary . I miss that family was more important than money feeling we had growing up. But alas my wife a RN is at work at her hospital , I am in my home office taking care of loose ends .I am even thinking of doing some shopping . Drat my shiftless soul. How ever you spend the day , Have a Happy New Year!
